Sinds 2011 maakt Wladimir Manshanden werk in opdracht voor o.a. Gemeente Eindhoven.
Since 2011, Wladimir Manshanden has been making commissioned work for the Municipality of Eindhoven, among others. Often pieces of public space are chosen for this, that are easily overlooked. The texts he posts relate to the place itself, and sometimes also refer to elsewhere .

The ongoing ‘way in / way out’ project started in 2019. All verikasten (traffic control installation boxes) along the ring road together form parallel signage for the city. Way in refers to the inner city. Way out shows you how to get out of town, if you’d like.

“The future is now becoming increasingly important” is written on a former office building that is temporarily occupied by a very diverse group of tenants. Soon this building will be demolished to make way for something new. At the end of 2019, Wladimir introduced this slogan together with Ruud Scheerens, still unaware of the pandemic that would knock on our door.

Eindhoven’s first metro stop!

This work on the Lichtplein is both a subtle reference to existing places in Eindhoven and a nod to her towering ambitions. The place names can also be seen as fictitious stops on a metro line.
